If you are anything like me, you love the idea of having your own vegetable garden, growing food for your table, knowing exactly where your food comes from and how it has been produced. Also, if you are anything like me, you are a successful house-plant serial killer and it has become a running joke as to how unsuccessful you are at keeping greenery alive. Can the two be mutually inclusive ways to exist? I have no idea. However, when we bought this house its previous owner had a large, raised bed vegetable plot already in place, alongside established fruit bushes, a greenhouse and a fantastic composting set up. As a result, it felt wasteful not to at least give it a go!
I will use this space to keep record of all the useful resources I source whilst attempting to grow our own fruit and veg. In addition to this, what does and doesnt work! Follow along to see how I get on!
